Babar Azam's record surpassed Kohli-Miandad

Pakistan's three-format captain Babar Azam is currently in peak form. Making one record after another has become Babar's daily task, and it is as if he is making new records quickly by playing at 22 yards.

In the first innings of the Galle Test, when the team was standing in ruins, Babar Azam scored a century with impeccable batting. Besides, by setting this record, he has surpassed Javed Miandad and Virat Kohli. In an innings of 119 runs, Babar reached the milestone of 10,000 runs in international cricket as the fastest cricketer in Asia.

Previously, Minadad had the record of scoring 10,000 runs in the least innings. He scored 10,000 runs in international cricket in 248 innings, and Babar has surpassed him to score 10,000 runs in just 228 innings. Also, it took three more Pakistani cricketers, Saeed Anwar 255, Mohammad Yousuf 261 and Inzamam-ul-Haq 281 innings, to reach the milestone of 10,000 runs.

Former Indian captain Virat Kohli held the previous record of the fastest Asian batsman with 10,000 runs. He made this record by playing 232 innings, and Sunil Gavaskar scored this run by playing 243 innings. And Sourav Ganguly scored 10 thousand runs playing 253 innings.

Babar is now at a new height by surpassing Kohli.
