The biggest discovery in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) is young pacer Umran Malik. He is making a storm of speed in every match in Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey. However, he was seen bowling brilliantly in most of the matches. Speed is not everything, Umran was reminded of that by his compatriot elder brother Mohammed Shami.

Umran is bowling at a speed of 145 to 150 kilometers per hour in every match. He has already made the fastest ball in IPL history. His speed was 157 kilometers per hour (approximately). Despite having such a great speed, Shami warned Umran. He says that success cannot be achieved by speed alone.

The national team star pacer also said that he is not a fan of Umran's speed. According to Shami, it is not enough for a bowler to be able to bowl at a speed of 140 kmph to cause problems for the batsmen. However, the bowler must have the ability to swing the ball from both sides. Otherwise, you cannot succeed.

In this context, Shami said, ''I think Umran has speed. But personally, I'm not a fan of speed. If one can swing the ball in both directions at a speed of 140 kmph, then reverse swing is enough to make trouble for the batsman. So, he has to become more mature. Success will not come if there is only speed. ''

Apart from Umran, several other young fast bowlers have also drawn attraction in this year's IPL. Mohsin Khan of Lucknow Super Giants and Mukesh Choudhary of Chennai Super Kings are with Yash Dayal of Gujarat Titans. With these young pacers coming up, Shami thinks it will be an advantage for India.

In this context, Shami said, ''Several young bowlers have come up in this year's IPL. If a country has so many good fast bowlers, it is good for the country's cricket. But they will take more time. They need to know how to swing the new ball and reverse swing with the old. ''
