Popular Indian musician Krishnakumar Kunnath has died. He was popularly known as KK in the music industry under. He had a singing program at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata on Tuesday. He fell ill after singing on stage. When he was taken to the hospital, the doctors on duty declared him dead. The death of this popular Bollywood artiste cannot be accepted at all by his fans. The shadow of mourning has descended on the Indian sports arena as well.

Athletes have also expressed grief over the death of the 54-year-old popular artist. From Virat Kohli to Anil Kumble, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, VVS Laxman, Sunil Joshi, Harbhajan Singh, Harsha Vogle, Shikhar Dhawan have expressed their grief over KK's death. On social media, Virat Kohli wrote on Twitter, '' We suddenly lost a great singer of our time. I express my sympathy to his family and close people.'' The same is true of former spinner Harbhajan Singh. ''His melodious and sweet songs would touch the hearts of millions of people. My condolences to his family, friends and followers, may he live in peace, '' he expressed.

On KK's death, former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh wrote on social media, ''Life is so uncertain and fragile! I received the painful news of KK's death. May God help his family to endure this sorrow.'' Former hard hitter opener Sehwag was also touched by KK's sudden death. Sehwag wrote, " I was saddened by the news of KK's death due to illness, after performing in Kolkata. Once again, I realized how fragile life is, and my sympathies to his family, friends and followers."

The news of KK's death is unbelievable to Krunal Pandya. He wrote, ''I am sitting speechless. Your music would bring everyone to each other, inspire everyone and will continue to do so. '' The same is true of popular commentator Hersha Vogel. He wrote, ''I can't believe we lost KK! We will remember the wonderful time we spent in Istanbul during the performance. He was a very cheerful and open-hearted person.'' Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian opener wrote to express his mourn, ''An artist of extraordinary melodic voice and music who always made us emotional. I express my sympathy to his loved ones. ''
