The High Performance (HP) unit of the
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) practice camp started on the 15th of this month. The camp started
on May 15 with 27 cricketers. Although 15 days have already passed, head coach Toby Redford has
yet to join, and it is learned that his relationship with BCB is strained.
A reliable BCB source confirmed that Toby had not yet joined the camp due to remuneration complications. There are also doubts about whether he will be found in the future. However, in Toby's absence, Champaka Ramanayake will be acting head coach of HP.
