A total of 16 teams will compete in the
2022 ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. And the last two teams to play in that
tournament are Zimbabwe and Netherlands. The Netherlands defeated the United States in the
semifinals of the qualifiers on Friday. On the other hand, Zimbabwe defeated Papua New Guinea to
qualify for the World Cup.
Meanwhile, all the teams that have placed in the Super Twelve of 2021 have received tickets to play directly in 2021 World Cup. The remaining four teams are qualified. Overcoming that barrier, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates qualified for the World Cup in Australia last February.
