Test at the IS Bindra stadium in Mohali on Saturday, Virat Kohli got a 'Guard of Honour' from
his Indian teammates. The Rohit Sharma-led team made a beautiful gesture to commemorate Kohli's
100th Test appearance. As Kohli walked onto the field just before the third session began,
Indian players queued up and clapped. With a wide smile on his face, he waved his right hand and
walked quickly into the middle.
Kohli joins Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sourav Ganguly, Ishant Sharma, Virender Sehwag, and Harbhajan Singh as the only Indians who have represented the country 100 times or more.
India declared their first innings at 574/8 against Sri Lanka. Credit to Ravindra Jadeja for scoring an unbeaten 175 runs.
However, India lost their eighth wicket early in the second session.
