On December 11, 2020, Blazing Bullseye began a field trial at the Venetian. Except for Saigon
5 Card, it's tough to compare it to any other game. Despite the somewhat intricate rules, it
is a straightforward game of chance.
Rules of Blazing Bullseye
- This game is played with a 52-card deck.
- Each card has a baccarat-style point value, as follows:
- Aces = 1 point
- 2 to 9 = pip value
- 10's and face cards = 0 points
- The "Main" is the most crucial wager. There are other side bets such as Tie, Suits, and Bullseye.
- Following the conclusion of wagering, the dealer will deal each player and himself with five cards. The cards given to the dealer are dealt face down.
- The player will form a three-card hand and a two-card hand.
- To "qualify," the total points in the 3-card hand must be evenly divisible by 10, which is required.
- If a three-card hand is possible with a total equally divisible by ten, the two-card hand will be graded as follows, from highest to lowest:
- Any face card and the ace of spades
- A pair, in the order of aces highest to two's lowest in poker.
- Two face cards with different designs.
- The final digit of the two cards' combined points (as in baccarat)
- The dealer will do the same once the player has set his hand, presumably maximizing the two-card hand where the three-card hand qualifies.
- The Main stake loses if the player does not have a qualifying three-card hand.
- Otherwise, the Main bet will push if the dealer does not have a suitable three-card hand.
- Otherwise, if the player has the better two-card hand, the Main bet will be paid out according to the two-card hand:
- Aces of spades and any face card = 5:1
- Any pair= 3:1
- Two mixed face cards = 2:1
- All other wins = 1:1
- Otherwise, the Main bet will lose if the dealer has the better two-card hand.
- Otherwise, the Main bet will push if the player and dealer have equal-ranking two-card hands.
- Tie is a side bet that pays 8~1 if the Player and Dealer have equal-valued hands, even if none of them qualifies in the three-card hand.
- Bullseye is a side bet that pays out dependent on the player's hand's amount of face cards, as follows:
- Five face cards = 200:1
- Four face cards = 20:1
- Three face cards = 10:1
- The Suit is a side bet that pays out according to the number of cards in the player's longest suit:
- Five suited cards = 20:1
- Four suited cards = 5:1
- Three suited cards = 1:1
