With all-rounder Krunal Pandya testing
positive for COVID-19, the T20I series between Sri Lanka and India has been abruptly halted for
the time being. The second Twenty20 International, which was supposed to take place on Tuesday,
has been postponed by a day. Only if the visiting contingent's results are negative will the
series restart.
Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav, who have been named replacements for the forthcoming Test series against England, are likely to be affected by the developments in Sri Lanka.
