PSG is said to have turned down Real Madrid's offer for Kylian Mbappe. Even though Mbappe's current deal has only one year left, the French club is keen to maintain hold of him this summer.

Real Madrid made a €160 million offer for Mbappe, which was quickly rejected by PSG, who will not consider selling the 22-year-old unless they receive a proposal in the neighbourhood of €200 million.

PSG's contract with Kylian Mbappe is slated to expire after the season. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has reportedly turned down a contract extension with PSG in favour of a move to Real Madrid. Mbappe, on the other hand, has expressed his wish to remain at PSG this season.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has had his eye on Kylian Mbappe for a long time. Los Blancos have spent the two transfer windows raising finances and reducing their salary bill by selling marginal players and some of the club's biggest earners.

Real Madrid has raised funds needed to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer thanks to the sales of Achraf Hakimi, Raphael Varane, Martin Odegaard, and Sergio Ramos' departure.

Real Madrid has avoided making big-money signings in the last three transfer windows due to their desire to capture Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain and Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund shortly.

Real Madrid may sign Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer next summer, but rumours claim that PSG will do all possible to persuade the Frenchman to stay at the Parc des Princes this season.

Lionel Messi's arrival and the presence of Neymar may be enough to persuade Kylian Mbappe to stay at PSG.
