The IPL 2021 second leg will be out in a few days, with the opening match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Kulwant Khejroliya, a pacemaker, will replace left-arm leg spinner Manimaran Siddharth for the Delhi Capitals. Siddharth has been declared out of the rest of the IPL 2021 season after suffering a quadriceps stretch during a training session in Dubai.

Khejroliya is already a member of the Delhi Capitals' team as a net bowler, having taken 17 wickets at an average of 23.29 in 15 T20 matches. He also played for RCB in the 2018 and 2019 IPL seasons, taking three wickets in five games.

The DC support staff is presently following Manimaran's rehab program in the Gulf nation, as he has been ruled out due to an injury. He'll be leaving for India soon and continue receiving treatment, and the DC family has wished him a swift recovery.

During the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy, Khejroliya made his List A debut for Delhi. He scored a hat-trick for Delhi against Haryana in the quarter-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-19 in October of that year. It's unclear whether he'll make the playing XI for Delhi in the remaining stages of the IPL 2021.

In terms of DC's IPL 2021 performance, they are in first place in the points table, having won six of their eight games. Rishabh Pant is a captain in the Indian leg of the IPL 2021 after regular skipper Shreyas Iyer was ruled out due to a shoulder injury. On the other hand, Iyer has returned to the DC Camp, and it remains to be seen whether he will reclaim his captaincy or if Pant will continue to lead the team.

Delhi has yet to win an IPL trophy and has reached the tournament's final for the first time in IPL 2020.
