After 59 rounds and three Compete-off matches, the two teams that will play in the much-anticipated IPL 2021 final have been determined. To qualify for the final, CSK defeated Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1, KKR overcame RCB in Eliminator 1, and Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2. After back-to-back losses in the Playoffs, the Delhi Capitals finished third out of most expectations.

Yet what a comeback for Kolkata Knight Riders, who were languishing at the bottom of the standings before the start of IPL 2021's second leg. They had only won two of their first six games but won seven of their next nine to advance to the final. The management deserves praise for how they adjusted their strategy in the second half.

CSK had a tremendous run until the final three group stage matches. Although they had lost three of their previous four before winning the crucial Qualifier 1 against Delhi Capitals, they had won nine of their first eleven games. With that victory, CSK secured their 9th appearance in the IPL final, the most by any side in the competition's history.

Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders have both proven to be incredibly powerful and versatile in the UAE. Because the final will be held in Dubai, expect the atmosphere to be a little more energetic than Sharjah, which has been on the lower end for the majority of the season.

The availability of Suresh Raina, who was just ruled out of the last two matches due to injury, will be the primary worry for Chennai Super Kings. CSK, on the other hand, will not be too concerned, given the performance of his substitute, Robin Uthappa, in the last game.

KKR's main concern, like CSK's, will be whether strong guy Andre Russell recovers early enough for the finale. Shakib Al Hasan will make way for Russell if he returns. Russell will certainly be an advantage on the pace-friendly Dubai pitch due to his bat-playing ability.

Will teams, however, make any changes to their lineup and stick with the same 11 players, or will injured first-choice players make a comeback to the final? This Friday, don't miss the highly anticipated cricket match!
