Pakistan sparked outrage hoisted their national flag during their practise session in Mirpur, Bangladesh. In the most recent event, a lawsuit was filed in Dhaka against the Pakistani team. The case was filed against the entire 21 players in the squad, including the team's captain, Babar Azam.

While Pakistani cricketers hoisted their national flag during a practice session, Bangladeshis interpreted it as a political message during its golden jubilee celebrations. Though national flags are routinely waved during international or bilateral games, BCB outlawed this practice in 2014. Foreign countries were barred from flying their national flag on BCB's soil. However, the decision was reversed due to significant protest.

When the debate erupted on social media, Pakistan's media manager Ibrahim Badizi responded by saying that they had been hoisting their national flag for a long time. Their practice began during the reign of Saqlain Mushtaq and has continued ever since.

Pakistan is currently in Bangladesh, and the first Test of the two-match series will take place on November 26 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. In the T20I series, Pakistan thrashed the hosts on their home turf, and Bangladesh would like to make a mark in the game's purest form. The first Test will begin on November 26, and the second will start on December 4.
