Bruno Fernandes will miss Manchester United next match against Burnley. On Thursday, the Red Devils will face Sean Dyche's team in the Premier League.

Fernandes collected his fifth yellow card of the 2021-22 league season during Manchester United's poor 1-1 tie with Newcastle United. In the second half, the Portuguese were reprimanded for disputing a judgement made by referee Craig Pawson.

Any player who receives five yellow cards in the first 19 games of the season will be punished for one match, according to Premier League rules. As a result, Fernandes will miss Manchester United's critical game against Burnley.
