The Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches
in Lahore will have a 50% audience capacity. Previously, the maximum capacity allowed was 25%,
but the government has lifted the rules, allowing half of the stadium to be occupied until
February 15, 2022.
After February 15, all PSL matches will be played at capacity in the stadiums. The National Command and Operation Centre confirmed this. The NCOC has certified that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold PSL matches at full capacity beginning February 16, 2022. Children under 12 years old will also be allowed inside the stadium, according to the NCOC.
Salman Nasser, the Director of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), praised the NCOC for agreeing to PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja's proposal to allow children under 12 years old to attend PSL matches. Nasser further stated that taking this action would encourage many people to take part.
Nasser further stated that children under the age of 12 are crucial for Pakistan cricket's future and that this will assist the PCB in nurturing and developing young players into future stars of the game.
